About Me:

In 2006, my best friend was pregnant with her first child and I wanted her to have a special gift from me; a gift that was handmade and from the heart. So I taught myself to crochet.

On a trip to the mall with some other friends I got the crochet kit that changed my spare time and I haven't stopped crocheting since!

When people saw the set I had made for her, they were very complimentary. Then people started to ask could I make this or could I make that.

I'm rarely without my hooks and a skein of yarn. And I'm always looking for that next challenge or inspiration in peoples interests, whimsy or every day things around me for color choices and combinations.

I like to crochet for those who can't or are looking for a handmade gift with their personal touches. So while I make hats and scarves, it's the dolls, toys or characters that I take special pride in completing. I'm a big kid at heart!

I can't tell you how many times I've created something and wanted to keep it for myself, but I really love the reaction when I've captured what someone has been looking for in a gift.
