Thank you. :) Sankofa means "learning from the past in building for the future". Napkin rings are for holding a napkin beside the plate. It's part of the table setting. A napkin ring is usually decorative, but it sometimes is used to help maintain a certain shape or fold of a napkin.



I bought the wooden rings then painted them. You're not being nosey at all! I love vertical stripes, and I'd been waiting to do a bunch of things with vertical stripes. I painted some before (checkered, solid, and red-gold-green), but I'm pretty sure I have no pics of them.
