About Me:
Established in 1991, Li’l Crumbsnatchers was born out of the desire for parents to add cultural touches to their child’s wardrobe. It was a desire to fill that niche that prompted me to start designing cultural children’s wear. The vivid colors and unique fabrics of Asian, African and Indian cultures influence my designs, but I use the Western concept of fashion to create styles that will help our children to develop a positive self-image and encourage them to take pride in their rich family heritage.

Well, procrastination got the best of me, but I FINALLY started working on my blog , The African Diaspora, on September 18th.  (I'm only three posts in, but the juices are definitely flowing!)  I decided to use it as a means to showcase my many crafty loves, so we'll see how it goes!  ~Matae
